Cookies policy
One essential cookie, two small notes in your browser and zero ad tracking.

Cookies, quickly
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (such as local storage) works in a similar way. This page covers both.
Everything we set
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| hl_sid | Strictly necessary cookie | Keeps you signed in. It only holds a random session ID, can't be read by page scripts and only goes to our server. | Until you sign out or close your browser |
| hl_age_ok | Local storage | Remembers you confirmed you're 18 or over, so we don't ask on every page. | Until you clear it |
| hl_cookie | Local storage | Remembers what you picked on the cookie notice. | Until you clear it |
No advertising cookies. No tracking pixels.
Other people's cookies
If you choose Continue with Google, Google may set its own cookies to finish the sign-in, under its own policy. Our games come from our own server with no third-party ads.
Your choices
Strictly necessary cookies don't need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), but you can block or clear cookies in your browser whenever you like. Without hl_sid you won't stay signed in, but every game still works as a guest.
